Production line for cooking and cooling shrimps
Marinox had the privilege to design, manufacture and commission a complete production line for a customer in Switzerland. This line includes a feeding conveyor to the cooker, the CK800 cooking unit, an intermediate belt with spraying, a cooling bath with salt dosing and a vibrating conveyor.
The planning of this line was a challenging task, as space conditions and escape routes had to be taken into account. The products are placed frozen on the infeed conveyor, then cooked and leave the cooling bath at a core temperature of 2°C. The dwell times in the cooker and cooler as well as the suitable temperatures can be defined in the program.

- Capacity: up to 350kg of frozen shrimps per hour
- Recipe parameters: Cooking up to 90°C and cooling to <3°C in the core
- Operation: 2 Siemens Comfort Panel TP700, with remote access for support
- Heating & cooling medium: steam & glycol
- Cleaning: automatic CIP program for cleaning of tubes, pumps, and heat exchangers
